Our Cobbers Shed is unlike any other activity at the Noosa Mens Shed (NMS). Our group may repair and refurbish furniture, produce native bee boxes, bird boxes, outdoor furniture and gardening structures. Other sheds borrow our tools or ask for our assistance. Our tool inventory is huge, enabling us to produce and repair all kinds of products.
We're the Swiss Army knife of the NMS! Our members come from a wide variety of trades and professions, hence a diverse range of skills i.e. retired farmers, servicemen, scientists, mechanics all come together to get the job done and in the spirit of camaraderie of the Mens Shed movement.
Apart from core activities, the Cobbers Shed is the social shed. We have lots of fun, where morning coffee and cake is the norm. It is funded by our small group which often get visited by other members, strangely around smoko time. We look forward to prospective members dropping in and see if our shed suits is their thing!
